Southwest Minnesota Private Industry Council Hosts Benson Job Fair to Support Dislocated Workers
Benson, MN – In response to the permanent layoff of 175 employees from CNH Industrial America LLC, beginning April 11, 2025, the Southwest Minnesota Private Industry Council (SWMNPIC), a proud member of the CareerForce network, is providing Dislocated Worker Program services to affected employees, including:
- Career Counseling and Job Search Assistance
- Resume Development and Interview Preparation
- Access to Job Training and Certification Programs
- Education and Skills Training Opportunities
- Support Services for Career Transitions
To further support impacted workers and the broader community, SWMNPIC has organized a Benson Job Fair, providing job seekers the opportunity to connect with hiring employers across multiple industries.
Benson Job Fair Details:
- Date: Wednesday, March 26, 2025
- Time: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM (Employer setup at 2:00 PM)
- Location: Benson High School, Benson, MN
- Spanish Interpreters available
This community-wide event is open to all job seekers, with a special focus on those previously employed in manufacturing, logistics, and engineering roles, including assemblers, welders, material handlers, and forklift drivers.
SWMNPIC extends its gratitude to Benson High School for hosting this event and CNH Industrial America LLC for their partnership in supporting impacted workers.
Employer Registration & Participation:
Employers interested in hiring skilled workers are encouraged to register for a booth in advance. Space is limited, and registration is required by March 21, 2025 via Eventbrite: (Register Your Business Here).
