YMIC Business Tour Day

On April 29th, 2024, Juniors from the Yellow Medicine Integration Collaborative (including the schools of Yellow Medicine East, Renville County West, Lakeview, Dawson-Boyd, Minneota, and Canby) participated in the YMIC Business Tour Day. About 200 students attended tours and panels in Marshall, MN to learn more about careers in Southwest Minnesota! 14 businesses opened their doors to students to come in and learn about careers. We also hosted some panels so students could learn about careers in business and entrepreneurship and human services from local professionals. Thank you to all the businesses and panelists for sharing their day with the students and showing them the variety of careers available in the area! We had some amazing panelists willing to share their story and advice with the students.
